The West Indies cricket team ended a 34-year wait to win an ODI series against Pakistan, triumphing 2-1 in the three-match contest held in the Caribbean.

In the decisive third match, the hosts batted first and posted 294/6 in 50 overs. Captain Shai Hope led from the front with a magnificent unbeaten 120 off 94 balls, featuring 10 fours and five sixes — his 18th ODI century.

Chasing 295, Pakistan suffered a dramatic collapse, bowled out for just 92 runs in 29.2 overs. Salman Agha top-scored with 30, but Jayden Seales proved unplayable, claiming career-best figures of 6 wickets.

The West Indies won the match by a massive 202-run margin, their fourth-largest ODI victory in terms of runs. Remarkably, this was Pakistan’s first ODI series defeat to the West Indies since 1991.
