New Zealand qualified for the semifinals of the Women’s T20 World Cup with a commanding win over Pakistan in a decisive group-stage match.

Winning the toss, New Zealand chose to bat first and scored 110/6 in their 20 overs. Suzie Bates top-scored with 28 runs, while Brooke Halliday contributed 22. Nashra Sandhu was the standout bowler for Pakistan, claiming 3 wickets.

Chasing 111, Pakistan’s innings never gained momentum as New Zealand’s bowlers dominated. Openers Muneeba Ali and Aliya Riaz failed to build a solid start, and Pakistan lost their first 5 wickets for just 28 runs.

The entire team was bowled out for 56 runs in 11.4 overs, handing New Zealand a comprehensive 54-run victory. Amelia Kerr led the bowling attack with 3 wickets, sealing her team’s place in the semifinals.
