Sri Lanka Cricket has announced the awarding of national player contracts to 46 cricketers for the 2026–27 season.

According to the official statement, the contracts will be valid from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027, covering the entire upcoming international cricket year.

Players have been categorized under six contract grades — A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and Central Contracts. Sri Lanka Cricket stated that the classifications were determined based on player performance, consistency, fitness levels, and the strategic requirements of the national team.

The latest contract list also features several new additions who have earned national recognition following their recent performances and development.

The players receiving national contracts for the first time are Kamil Mishara, Lasith Croospulle, Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, Isitha Wijesundara, Vanuja Sahan, Dilum Sudheera, and Tharindu Ratnayake.

The new contracts underline Sri Lanka Cricket’s commitment to rewarding performance and strengthening the national player pool as the team prepares for a busy international calendar over the next 12 months.
