Sri Lankan all-rounder Dasun Shanaka produced a stunning bowling performance in the Major League Cricket (MLC) tournament in the United States, claiming four wickets in four consecutive deliveries during a match played on Sunday.
Shanaka represented the Seattle Orcas in their clash against the Texas Super Kings in Dallas.
Batting first, the Seattle Orcas posted 121/9 from their 20 overs.
In reply, the Texas Super Kings fell just short, finishing on 112/9 from their allotted 20 overs, handing the Orcas a thrilling 9-run victory.
Shanaka was the hero with the ball, delivering the final over of the innings and dismissing four batters off the last four deliveries, producing one of the most remarkable finishes in Major League Cricket history.
