Sri Lankan boxer Ravindu Jayanath booked his place in the Round of 16 at the 2026 Commonwealth Games after a commanding victory in the men’s 60kg boxing event in Glasgow, Scotland.
The Commonwealth Games are currently underway in Glasgow, Scotland, with Sri Lanka’s Ravindu Jayanath competing in the men’s 60kg division.
Jayanath faced Makana Max of the Solomon Islands in the Round of 32 on Saturday.
The Sri Lankan produced an impressive performance, securing a unanimous 5-0 victory to comfortably advance to the Round of 16.
He is scheduled to return to the ring today, where he will battle for a place in the quarter-finals.
