The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 has been suspended due to the ongoing war-like situation between India and Pakistan.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made this decision following escalating tensions.
Yesterday, the match between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings in Dharamshala was abandoned midway. With the Dharamshala airport and nearby airfields shut down, both teams were forced to return to Delhi via a special train.
A total of 58 matches have already been played in this season’s IPL, with 12 more remaining in the first round.
