Colombo Malay Cricket Club emerged victorious in the Sri Lanka Cricket-organized Inter-Club Tier B T20 Tournament, defeating the formidable SSC team in today’s grand final.
Batting first, SSC managed just 100 runs before being bowled out in 19.4 overs, unable to build any lasting partnerships under disciplined bowling.
In reply, Colombo Malay Cricket Club confidently chased the target, scoring 101 runs for 4 wickets in just 18.1 overs, securing a comfortable win and the championship title.
This marks a significant achievement for the Malay CC as they overcome a top-tier club to claim Tier B glory.
