The Delhi Capitals have officially named a replacement for Ben Duckett, who pulled out of the 2026 Indian Premier League.

Duckett, who was bought for INR 2 crore at the auction, opted to skip the tournament to focus on his international career. As a result of withdrawing after being picked, he has also been handed a three-year IPL ban.

To fill the gap, Delhi Capitals have signed promising England all-rounder Rehan Ahmed.

The young talent is seen as a rising star and will now have a big opportunity to make his mark in one of the world’s biggest T20 leagues.
