England has been officially named the host country for the final matches of the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) cycles in 2027, 2029, and 2031.
This decision was approved during the ICC Annual General Meeting held in Singapore, according to reports.
The move comes in recognition of the successful hosting record of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in previous editions of the WTC final.
With this announcement, England continues its streak as the host nation, having already hosted all past WTC finals since the inaugural one in 2021—including those held in 2023 and 2025.
The most recent WTC final, which took place last month at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground, saw South Africa claim a 5-wicket victory over Australia.
