India has officially announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup T20 tournament, set to begin on September 9 in the United Arab Emirates.

The squad will be captained by dynamic batter Suryakumar Yadav, while promising opener Shubman Gill has been named vice-captain. The team selection reflects India’s focus on blending experience with youthful energy ahead of the high-stakes continental event.

India will feature in Group A of the competition, alongside traditional rivals Pakistan, as well as Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The Asia Cup 2025 will run from September 9 to September 28, with teams vying for supremacy in the T20 format.

Cricket fans around the region are already anticipating the high-voltage clashes, especially the much-awaited India–Pakistan encounter, which promises to be one of the tournament’s biggest attractions.
