New Zealand clinched a nail-biting 3-run victory over the West Indies in the second T20 International played in Auckland.

Batting first, the hosts posted an impressive total of 207 for 5 in their 20 overs. Middle-order batter Mark Chapman led the charge with a brilliant 78 runs, guiding New Zealand to a strong finish. For the visitors, Roston Chase picked up 2 wickets to keep the Kiwis in check.

In reply, the West Indies fought hard but fell just short, finishing on 204 for 8 at the end of their innings. Rovman Powell top-scored with 45 runs, showing great intent in the chase.

For New Zealand, spinners Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner were the stars with the ball, taking 3 wickets each to seal a narrow but crucial win for their side.
