The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship for 2025 has been officially decided to be hosted in Sri Lanka.
The decision was made during a meeting of SAFF representatives held in Nepal. Following a request by Sri Lanka Football President Jaswar Umar, the representatives agreed to grant hosting rights to Sri Lanka.
This marks the first time since 2008 that Sri Lanka will host the SAFF Championship, a major milestone for the country’s football development.
