Sri Lanka’s Ayomal Akalanka finished fifth in the men’s 400m hurdles final at the Asian Games today.
Akalanka clocked 49.37 seconds to complete the race in fifth place.
The gold medal went to Qatar’s Bassem Beheida, who won the final with a time of 47.82 seconds.
Japan claimed the silver medal, while the bronze medal went to an athlete from Chinese Taipei.
