Peshawar Zalmi delivered a dominant performance to defeat the Quetta Gladiators by a massive 118 runs in their Pakistan Super League clash in Karachi.
Batting first, Zalmi piled up a huge 255/3 in their 20 overs. Skipper Babar Azam led from the front with an unbeaten 100, while Kusal Mendis continued his red-hot form with a brilliant 83 off 44 balls, smashing 10 fours and 3 sixes.
In reply, Quetta Gladiators crumbled under pressure and were bowled out for just 137 in 18.1 overs. Bevon Jacobs top-scored with 34.
With the ball, Mohammad Zeeshan and Ali Raza shared the spoils, picking up three wickets each.
Peshawar Zalmi sealed a comprehensive victory, with Kusal Mendis once again playing a key role in the win.
