Sri Lanka secured another medal at the Asian Beach Games 2026 in Sanya, winning bronze in the men’s 60m relay event.
The Sri Lankan team, represented by Malith Tamel, Malith Tarushan, Manuja Prabash, and Sandun Diyalawatta, completed the race in 27.57 seconds.
The gold medal was claimed by China, while Thailand secured silver.
This marks Sri Lanka’s fourth athletics medal at the event, continuing an impressive run on the international stage.
