Sri Lanka Women sealed the three-match ODI series 2-1 after cruising to an emphatic eight-wicket victory over Pakistan Women in the series decider at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota.
Batting first, Pakistan Women were bowled out for 187.
Captain Fatima Sana top-scored with 41, but Sri Lanka’s bowling attack kept the visitors under pressure throughout the innings.
Chethana Vimukthi, Chamari Athapaththu, and Kavisha Dilhari shared the bowling honours, claiming three wickets each.
Chasing a target of 188, Sri Lanka Women reached 188/2 in just 37.2 overs to complete a comfortable eight-wicket victory.
Captain Chamari Athapaththu led from the front with 52, while Harshitha Samarawickrama anchored the chase with an unbeaten 71.
Hasini Perera also starred with the bat, remaining unbeaten on 50 as Sri Lanka completed the chase in style.
The convincing win secured a 2-1 ODI series triumph for Sri Lanka, capping off an impressive all-round performance against Pakistan.
