Australia Completes 5–0 Clean Sweep Over West Indies in T20I Series

Australia secured a 5–0 whitewash against the West Indies in their five-match T20I series, clinching the final match with a 3-wicket win yesterday.

Winning the toss, Australia opted to bowl first in the final encounter.

West Indies were bowled out for 170 runs. Shimron Hetmyer was the top scorer with 52 runs. Among the Australian bowlers, Ben Dwarshuis claimed 3 wickets while Nathan Ellis picked up 2.

Chasing 171, the Australian batting lineup reached the target in just 17 overs despite losing 7 wickets. Cameron Green scored 32 runs, Tim David contributed 30, and Mitchell Owen added a crucial 37.

With this victory, Australia completed a dominant 5–0 sweep of the series.

Ben Dwarshuis was named Player of the Match for his impressive bowling performance, while Cameron Green was awarded Player of the Series for his consistent all-round contributions.
