Bangladesh Bowled Out for 248 in Second ODI Against Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka set target of 249 to seal the series in Colombo

Bangladesh were bowled out for 248 runs in the second One Day International against Sri Lanka, played today at the R. Premadasa Stadium.

Winning the toss, Bangladesh elected to bat first and were dismissed in 45.5 overs.

Opening batter Parvez Hossain Emon top-scored with 67 runs. Towhid Hridoy contributed 51 runs before being run out, while Tamim Hasan Shakib remained unbeaten on 33 runs.

For Sri Lanka, Asitha Fernando produced his best ODI bowling figures, claiming 4 wickets for 35 runs. Wanindu Hasaranga picked up 3 wickets, and Dushmantha Chameera claimed one wicket.

Sri Lanka now require 249 runs to win the match and secure the series.
