The second One Day International between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be played today at 2.30 p.m. at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Having won the first match, Sri Lanka lead the series 1–0. In that opening encounter, the Sri Lankan team secured victory by 77 runs. Captain Charith Asalanka recorded his fifth ODI century, while Wanindu Hasaranga surpassed the milestone of 100 ODI wickets.
Another notable highlight of that match was Sri Lanka’s outstanding fielding performance.
Ahead of today’s clash, the players conducted their training session yesterday at the R. Premadasa Stadium.
Interestingly, Bangladesh have never won an ODI against Sri Lanka at this venue.
