Sri Lanka Cricket will hold the prestigious annual awards night on the 09th of June, 2025, to honor the outstanding achievements of Sri Lankan cricketers displayed both in international and domestic cricket during the year 2024.

This year’s award ceremony will be titled ‘Home Lands Sri Lanka Cricket Awards 2024,’ as Home Lands Group of Companies, Sri Lanka’s number one and most trusted real estate provider, has come forward to partner with Sri Lanka Cricket for this glittering event.

“We are happy to welcome Home Lands Group of Companies as the official sponsor for this year’s awards. Their support not only strengthens this prestigious event but also reflects a shared commitment to celebrating sporting excellence and inspiring future generations.”

said Mr. Bandula Dissanayake, Honorary Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket.

Speaking on the Partnership the Chairman of Home Lands Group of Companies, Mr. Nalin Herath said,

The much-anticipated “Home Lands Sri Lanka Cricket Awards 2024’ will award the Emerging Player of the Year, Best Batter, Best Bowler, and Best All-Rounder across all international formats, covering both men and women.

‘Men’s Cricketer of the Year’ and ‘Women’s Cricketer of the Year’ will be among the marquee titles of the ‘Awards Night.’

Under the Domestic Cricket Segment, players who excelled in SLC-organized First-Class and Women’s Domestic Tournaments, such as the Major Club T20 Tournament, Major Club 50- Over Tournament, Major Club 3-Day Tournament, and Major Club Women’s Invitational 50 over Tournament, will be recognized.

‘Best Batter,’ ‘Best Bowler,’ and ‘Player of the Tournament’ will be the individual awards given under the domestic cricket segment, while the ‘Champions and Runner-Up Teams of the said tournaments too will be awarded.

Additionally, honors will be awarded to the individuals who have contributed to the game in various capacities will also be recognized with Lifetime Achievement Awards.

A media conference to officially announce the event and welcome Home Lands Group of Companies as the official sponsor of the Sri Lanka Cricket Awards 2024 was held on June 5, 2025, in Colombo, with the participation of SLC and Home Lands Group of Company representatives and the Captains’ of the National Teams.
