Indian opener Smriti Mandhana has become the first and only woman cricketer from India to score centuries in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is.
Yesterday, she achieved this milestone in the first T20 International against England, played in Nottingham, where she scored a brilliant 112 runs.
Batting first, India posted a massive total of 210 runs. Mandhana’s innings featured 3 sixes and 15 fours.
So far in her career, Mandhana has recorded 2 Test centuries and 11 ODI centuries.
Meanwhile, India secured an emphatic 97-run victory in this match against England.
In reply to India’s imposing 210/5 in 20 overs, England managed only 113 runs.
This defeat is also notable as it marks England’s heaviest loss by runs against India in women’s T20 cricket history.
