The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has become the final team to qualify for the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup, following their victory over Japan in the East Asia-Pacific (EAP) Qualifiers.
UAE secured third place in the EAP points table, earning them a ticket to the global stage.
The 2026 T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, featuring 20 teams. Two teams earned direct qualification through the Asian regional pathway, while the top seven teams from the 2024 T20 World Cup also gained automatic entry.
With UAE’s inclusion, the full lineup of 20 qualified nations for the 2026 tournament is now complete, setting the stage for one of the most competitive T20 World Cups ever.
