Sri Lanka Ready for Second Leg of Asian Rugby Sevens in Colombo

The second leg of the Asian Rugby Sevens Series will take place this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at the Colombo Racecourse Ground.

Kavindu Perera has been appointed captain of the Sri Lanka Men’s Rugby Team, which includes 13 players. The men’s team will compete in Group C, alongside Uzbekistan, Singapore, and China.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Women’s Team will play in Group F, facing Thailand, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

In the first leg held in China, the Sri Lanka Men’s Team finished 4th, while the Women’s Team secured 9th place.

Fans can enjoy the matches free of charge, as announced by the Sri Lanka Rugby Union.
