Sri Lanka was eliminated from the men’s 4x100m relay at the Asian Athletics Championships, following a baton drop during the final exchange in the heats.
The event is currently being held in Gumi, South Korea.
The Sri Lankan relay team comprised:
- Yupun Abeykoon
- Chamod Yodhasinghe
- Dineeth Induwara
- Chamod Buddhika
Unfortunately, the baton was dropped during the final handover, and as a result, the team did not finish (DNF) the race.
In that heat, South Korea finished first, while Thailand secured second place.
