The Sri Lankan women’s baseball team, set to compete in the IV BFA Women’s Baseball Asian Championship from October 26 to November 2 in Hangzhou, China, met with the Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs, Dinindu Saman Hennayake, today.
The meeting took place at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, where the Deputy Minister extended his best wishes to the players ahead of their departure.
Sri Lanka will be represented by 20 players and 4 officials in the prestigious tournament, showcasing the growing strength and spirit of women’s baseball in the country.
