Sri Lankan motor racing star Yevan David claimed second place in the third race of the Belgium leg of the Euroformula Open Championship.
Yevan currently sits at the top of the overall leaderboard of the Euroformula Open series with 122 points.
The Belgium round of the championship featured three races:
- Yevan won the first race,
- Finished fourth in the second,
- And clinched second place in the third, finishing just 0.98 seconds behind Poland’s Timoteusz Kucharczyk, who took first place in the final race.
Yevan’s consistent performance in both the Portugal and Belgium legs has secured his lead in the championship standings.
The next round of the Euroformula Open will be held in Germany on July 8.
