The Wushu competitions at the National Sports Festival concluded with Western Province securing the highest honors. The events were held at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Competitions were conducted in both Sanda (combat) and Thawulu (forms) disciplines, with participation from athletes representing all 9 provinces.
Western Province claimed both the men’s and women’s championships in the Thawulu category. In the Sanda category, the women’s championship also went to Western Province, while the men’s title was secured by Uva Province.
