Sri Lankan bodybuilder Subash Bethmage made the nation proud by securing two silver medals at the IFBB Dubai Muscle Beach 2025, an international bodybuilding championship held in Dubai, UAE.
The competition, organized by the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB), took place from February 14 to 16, attracting over 500 athletes from 20 countries. Bethmage competed in two categories—Classic Physique (171cm) and Open Bodybuilding (70kg)—claiming the runner-up position in both events.
Following his impressive performance, he returned to Sri Lanka on February 19 at 5:00 AM, arriving at Bandaranaike International Airport via SriLankan Airlines flight UL-226. He was warmly welcomed by officials from the Sri Lanka Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, as well as his family and supporters.
