Elephant House, one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic and trusted beverage brands, has been officially announced as the “Official Carbonated Beverage Partner” of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).

The announcement was made at a special media briefing held at Shangri-La, Colombo, with the participation of Sri Lanka national team members and top executives from both parties.

Under this new partnership, Elephant House will hold the exclusive rights to supply carbonated beverages at all international cricket matches played in Sri Lanka. Their products will be made available in player dressing rooms, media areas, VIP enclosures, and spectator zones, enhancing the overall matchday experience.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Daminda Galleth, Chairman of the Customer Division of Ceylon Cold Stores PLC, stated:

“As a proud Sri Lankan brand, partnering with Sri Lanka Cricket is a major milestone for us. This goes beyond brand promotion—our goal is to support the spirit of the game and bring fans closer to cricket.”

He added that the company plans to host a range of promotional activities across stadiums, digital platforms, and fan zones—many of which will include participation from national team players.

This partnership continues Elephant House’s long-standing involvement in local sports. The company has previously organized youth tournaments and supported rural cricket development across the island.

Sri Lanka Cricket CEO, Mr. Ashley De Silva, also expressed his views on the partnership:

“We are pleased to welcome Elephant House to the SLC family. Their strong local identity and commitment to cricket make them an ideal partner.”

The agreement between Elephant House and SLC is valid until March 31, 2027, and marks a new chapter of collaboration between two beloved Sri Lankan institutions.
