The grand final of the I-League Football Tournament is set to take place tomorrow evening between two of Sri Lanka’s top football clubs — Saunders and Renown. The tournament is organized by the Football Federation of Sri Lanka and featured participation from eight leading teams across the country.
All matches were held at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo. Renown secured their place in the final by defeating Maligawatta Youth with a narrow 1-0 victory in the second semi-final. Saunders had already qualified for the final by winning their semi-final earlier in the tournament.
The much-anticipated final clash between Renown and Saunders is scheduled to kick off tomorrow at Sugathadasa Stadium.
