Pakistan completed a 3–0 series whitewash over Australia after securing a massive 111-run win in the third and final T20 match played yesterday.
Batting first, Pakistan posted a formidable 207/7 in 20 overs.
Saim Ayub blasted 56 off 37 balls, Babar Azam remained unbeaten on 50 off 36, while Shadab Khan played a fiery cameo of 46 off just 19 balls.
Among the Australian bowlers, Matthew Kuhnemann (1/27) and Ben Dwarshuis (2 wickets) managed some resistance, but the rest of the attack came under heavy pressure.
In reply, Australia had no answers to Pakistan’s sharp bowling attack. Wickets fell in quick succession, and the visitors were bundled out for just 96 runs in 17 overs.
Only Cameron Green (22) and Marcus Stoinis (23) crossed the 20-run mark for Australia.
With the ball, Mohammad Nawaz starred with a brilliant 5/18, while Shaheen Shah Afridi picked up 2/16. Abrar Ahmed and Naseem Shah chipped in with a wicket each.
The emphatic victory gives Pakistan strong momentum heading towards the 2026 T20 World Cup, while Australia suffered a heavy blow before the global tournament.
Mohammad Nawaz was named Player of the Match, and Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha earned the Player of the Series award.
