The South Africa secured a convincing seven-wicket victory over the New Zealand in the opening match of their five-match T20 series.
Batting first, New Zealand were bowled out for just 91 runs in 14.3 overs, thanks to an impressive bowling performance by the South African attack.
Nqobani Mokoena led the bowling with three wickets, while Gerald Coetzee, Ottneil Baartman and Keshav Maharaj picked up two wickets each.
Chasing a modest target, South Africa reached 93 for 3 in 16.4 overs to seal the victory.
Connor Esterhuizen guided the chase with an unbeaten 45 runs.
For New Zealand, the three wickets were shared between Kyle Jamieson, Zak Foulkes and Mitchell Santner.
With the win, South Africa have taken an early 1-0 lead in the five-match T20 series.
