Colombo 10’s St. Joseph’s College once again made its mark on Sri Lankan school basketball, securing the Under-17 and Under-20 double championships at the 40th All-Island School Games Basketball Championship organised by the Ministry of Education.
The Josephians achieved the double for the third consecutive year, having also secured both titles in 2024, 2025 and 2026.
In the Under-17 final, St. Joseph’s produced a dominant performance to defeat St. Peter’s College 66–29.
Their Under-20 team also secured the title after a closely contested final against Prince of Wales’ College, Moratuwa, winning 56–49.
Under-20 captain Chamindu Madhushan played a key role with his leadership and on-court performance.
With three consecutive years of Under-17 and Under-20 double championships, St. Joseph’s College continue to strengthen their position in Sri Lankan school basketball.
