The Australian cricket team arrived in Sri Lanka last night ahead of their upcoming series against the host nation. The highly anticipated series is scheduled to commence on the 29th of this month.
A group of officials from Sri Lanka Cricket welcomed the Australian squad upon their arrival at the airport.
The series will feature two Test matches and two One-Day Internationals (ODIs). The first Test is set to begin on the 29th of this month at the Galle International Cricket Stadium, while the second Test will also take place at the same venue, starting on February 6.
The series will be played for the prestigious Warne-Muralitharan Trophy, honoring two legendary spinners of the game.
Following the conclusion of the Test series, the two teams will compete in two ODIs. The first ODI is scheduled for the 12th of next month, with the second match set to take place on the 14th.
Both ODIs will be held at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
