South African hard-hitting batter Heinrich Klaasen has announced his retirement from international limited-overs cricket.
The 33-year-old cricketer made the decision public today, stating that he wants to focus on his family and long-term future. Klaasen had already retired from international T20 cricket in 2024.
During his career, Klaasen represented South Africa in 60 ODIs, scoring 2,141 runs, and played in 58 T20 Internationals, amassing over 1,000 runs.
With his departure, South Africa bids farewell to one of its most explosive white-ball players in recent years.
