After winning the toss, Punjab Kings decided to field first. Batting first, Gujarat Titans managed to score 162 for 6 in their 20 overs.
Chasing the target, Punjab Kings reached 165 for 7 in the final over, securing their first win of the season.
For Gujarat Titans, captain Shubman Gill scored 39 runs, while Jos Buttler made 38. Glenn Phillips contributed 25 runs.

In the run chase, debutant Cooper Connolly played a brilliant innings, remaining unbeaten on 72 off 44 balls in his first IPL knock. Prabhsimran Singh added 37 runs.
For the Titans, Prasidh Krishna took 3 wickets, while Kagiso Rabada, Rashid Khan, Washington Sundar and Ashok Sharma picked up one wicket each.
Cooper Connolly was named the Player of the Match for his match-winning performance.
