Sri Lanka Women secured the three-match T20I series after registering a convincing victory over Pakistan Women in the second T20I played at the Dambulla International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Batting first, Pakistan posted a competitive 175/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Shawaal Zulfiqar top-scored with 48, while captain Muneeba Ali contributed 45. Chamudi Praboda was the pick of the Sri Lankan bowlers, claiming 2 wickets.
In reply, Sri Lanka chased down the target in emphatic fashion, reaching 178 in just 17.4 overs to complete a comprehensive win.
Sanjana Kavindi led the chase with a fluent 46, while skipper Chamari Athapaththu chipped in with a valuable 40 as Sri Lanka wrapped up the series with a game to spare.
