Switzerland produced a stunning second-half performance to defeat Bosnia and Herzegovina 4-1 in their FIFA World Cup Group B clash at Los Angeles.
The opening 45 minutes were a tightly contested affair, with both teams unable to find a breakthrough as the first half ended 0-0.
However, Switzerland came out firing after the interval and completely transformed the contest with an attacking masterclass.
The Swiss struck four times in the second half, overwhelming Bosnia’s defence and taking full control of the match.
Bosnia managed to pull one goal back, but it proved to be little more than a consolation as Switzerland comfortably secured all three points.
The emphatic 4-1 victory strengthens Switzerland’s position in Group B and underlines their credentials as serious contenders in the tournament.
