A media briefing on the upcoming All-Island Netball Championship organized by the Western Province Netball Association was held recently.
The tournament is scheduled to take place on January 31 and February 1 at the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters Grounds in Colombo. Matches for the men’s category will be held under Group A, while women’s matches will be played under Group B.
Competitions will be conducted for school teams under the age categories U-17 and U-19 in both groups. In addition, participants over 40 years will also have the opportunity to compete in the open category.
Championship and runner-up titles will be awarded across all categories.
The main sponsor for this year’s tournament is Eva, a brand under ICL Brands (Pvt) Ltd.
