Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by 14 runs in the third and final T20 International, played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium, to level the three-match series 1–1.
Due to rain interruptions, the match was affected, but Sri Lanka produced a strong all-round performance to secure the win.
After winning the toss, Pakistan opted to field first, sending Sri Lanka in to bat. The hosts posted a competitive 160 for 6 in their allotted overs.
Dasun Shanaka top-scored with 34 runs, while Kusal Mendis contributed 30. Dhananjaya de Silva and Janith Liyanage added 22 runs each. For Pakistan, Mohammad Wasim was the standout bowler, claiming three wickets.
In reply, Pakistan managed only 146 for 8, falling short of the target. Salman Agha fought back with 45 runs, but the Sri Lankan bowlers kept tight control.
Wanindu Hasaranga delivered a match-winning spell, taking 4 wickets for 35 runs, while Matheesha Pathirana chipped in with two wickets.
