Kamil Mishara has etched his name into Sri Lankan T20 cricket history by scoring the highest individual score by a Sri Lankan batter in a T20 match.
Mishara smashed an unbeaten 145 off just 72 balls for NCC against Bloomfield in the Major Club T20 Tournament.
His explosive innings featured 11 fours and 11 sixes, powering NCC to 225/1.
Mishara’s 145 surpassed the previous record of 132, set by Lahiru Udara during the recently concluded Lanka Premier League.
NCC went on to win the rain-affected match against Bloomfield via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method.
