China’s 13-year-old swimming sensation Yu Zidi has secured her third gold medal at the Asian Games, adding another title to her remarkable campaign.
Yu won the women’s 400m individual medley in a time of 4:28.56, setting a new Asian Games record in the process.
Her winning time is also the fourth-fastest time recorded by a female swimmer in the event this year.
Yu had already claimed gold in the women’s 200m butterfly and 200m individual medley, making this her third gold medal of the Games.
