Batting first, Punjab Kings posted 206 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. For Punjab, captain Shreyas Iyer scored 53 runs, while Marcus Stoinis remained unbeaten with 44 runs. Mustafizur Rahman was the standout bowler for Delhi, claiming 3 wickets.
In response, Delhi Capitals reached the target in the final over, scoring 208 runs for the loss of just 4 wickets. Sameer Rizvi led the charge with an unbeaten 58 runs, and Karun Nair contributed 44 runs. Harpreet Brar was the best bowler for Punjab, taking 2 wickets.
