Leg-spinner Dushan Hemantha has been called up to replace Wanindu Hasaranga for the ODI series against New Zealand.
Hasaranga sustained an injury during the second T20 match against New Zealand. As a result, he has returned to Colombo for medical treatment, which has already commenced, according to Sri Lanka Cricket.
Meanwhile, New Zealand pacer Lockie Ferguson, who was also injured during the same match, has been ruled out of the series. Adam Milne has been named as his replacement.
The first ODI between Sri Lanka and New Zealand is scheduled to take place tomorrow at the Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.
