A total of 19 Sri Lankan cricketers have been listed for the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) player auction.
Among them, Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana have been valued the highest. The IPL, set to be held for the 18th time, is scheduled to begin in March next year.
This year, 10 teams will participate in the tournament. The player auction is slated to take place on December 24 and 25 in Saudi Arabia.
A total of 574 players are expected to feature in the auction, including 366 Indian players and 208 overseas players.
Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana have been listed with a base price of INR 2 crore.
Additionally, 15 more Sri Lankan players have been listed with a base price of INR 75 lakh, while two others are listed at INR 30 lakh.
