The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the prize money breakdown for the 2023–2025 World Test Championship (WTC) cycle.
According to the ICC, the champions of the WTC Final, scheduled to begin on June 11 at Lord’s Cricket Ground, will receive a cash prize of USD 3.6 million. The runners-up in the clash between South Africa and Australia will walk away with USD 2.16 million.
Sri Lanka, who finished sixth in the WTC standings, will receive a prize of USD 840,000, which is approximately LKR 250 million in local currency.
This payout structure is part of ICC’s continued efforts to reward consistency and performance across the two-year Test cricket cycle.
