Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 74 runs in the third and final T20 match of the series.
However, Bangladesh won the overall three-match series 2-1.
The match was played in Mirpur, where Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field first, inviting Pakistan to bat.
Pakistan posted a total of 178 runs for the loss of 7 wickets at the end of their 20 overs. Sahibzada Farhan played a blazing knock, scoring 63 runs off just 41 balls. Hasan Nawaz contributed 33 runs while Mohammad Nawaz added 27.
For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed and Nasum Ahmed impressed with the ball, each claiming 3 wickets.
In reply, Bangladesh were bowled out for just 104 runs in 16.4 overs. A key turning point of the match was Pakistan dismantling Bangladesh’s top order by taking the first five wickets within just 25 runs.
Despite Pakistan’s strong finish, Bangladesh had already sealed the series by winning the first two matches.
