At the Royal College Grounds, Royal College faced off against Thurstan College in a dominant performance, securing a commanding 74–15 win.
Over in Pallekele, Trinity College battled against Sumangala College and registered a strong 49–15 victory to start their campaign on a high note.
At the Nittawela Grounds, D.S. Senanayake College edged out St. Anthony’s College in a tightly contested match, finishing with a 26–19 win.
Meanwhile, Zahira College showcased their strength at their home ground, defeating Dharmaraja College by 56–19, rounding off a high-scoring opening weekend of school rugby.
