Trinity College Kandy has advanced to the semi-finals of the Schools Rugby Knockout Tournament, organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SLSRFA), after a hard-fought victory against St. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia in the quarter-finals.
The intense match, held at Havelock Park, Colombo, saw Trinity College claim victory with a scoreline of 24-15. Trinity’s points came through three converted tries and a penalty, securing their place in the next stage of the tournament.
With this win, Trinity College moves one step closer to the Knockout Championship title, keeping their hopes alive in one of the most competitive school rugby tournaments in Sri Lanka.
