The New Zealand Under-85kg rugby team secured the series victory against Sri Lanka in their two-match series.

The second match was played yesterday at Nittawela Stadium, where a large crowd turned up to witness the contest.

New Zealand led 13-7 at halftime after a competitive opening period. In the second half, the visitors added 12 more points, while Sri Lanka managed only 3 points.

As a result, New Zealand claimed a 25-10 victory, scoring through 2 converted tries, a try, and 2 penalties.

Notably, New Zealand had also won the series when the two teams last met the previous year.
